Venezia

Hello everyone, we are now in Venice. We have already had two cones of gelato, and have even rode through the Lagoon. It is beautiful weather and extremely hot and humid. It is to be expected, but still very hot. Our train ride to Venice, was a little tougher than we though. Can you say Nightmare!! We missed our train to Venice by 5 mins, because our train was late, and then we waited an hour for the next train, but it was overflowing!! We stood for three hours from Milano to Venice. Can you imagine no air conditioning, closed windows, sitting on your luggage, with European hygiene at its best.
After the train ride everything has been great. The monastery is more than we expected, with great AC. The shower is amazing, and we even have a be'day(We aren't European enough to know how to spell that yet). We've walked EVERYWHERE! We've seen the little gondala boys, exactly like the pictures. Beautiful, Gorgeous, Wish you were here!
We head back to Paris tomorrow on the night train. Sorry no more pictures right now, because we are at an internet cafè. Just know that we've taken a ton, and will upload as soon as we can. We will right more when we get back, love you all!! Ciao!

Viola!!

Our computer finally works!! We have done so much so will just show a few quick pictures of all the amazing things we have seen. I for sure am tired, but I am sooo happy that this computer finally works!!!! Thanks for the prayers, cuz it's a miracle that we finally got through.

Notre Dame was amazing! It was overwhelming to see all the things you have heard so much about.

It was so exciting when we finally got to see the Eiffel Tower. We waited in line for 2 hrs, but it was so worth it! We had no idea that it would have soooo many stairs. Luckily we just walked down from the first floor, but it was a long way down.

Jessie, this one is for you. Right on the side of the Eiffel Tower you can find the name Caldiero!

Aaron would be so jealous. We saw the thinker!! It was so cool, we had no idea it would be here and then we just kinda ran into it.

Avenue Montaigne!! It was incredible!! I freaked out when I saw the Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Armani, and Fendi. It was all my fashion classes have culminated to.

There she is. It was near impossible to get a picture of it, but I dove into the mosh pit and was able to push the Asains away for a second. I hardly had time to look at her I was so busy looking through my camera.

Little did we know that we came when the biggest sales of the summer hit Paris. Every store in all of Paris has merchandise 30-75% off. It's the only word I know of French, but I know it well, soldes. Today was insane, and there were huge crowds, but we shopped. Mom even got herself a pair of shoes. Yay!

We love you all and can't wait to post more pictures!

Oh we are really scared about the whole thing in Venice. The pigeons are going to be crazy. I can see the scene from the birds right now!! AHH!! Anyways we have seen so much!! We saw Monet's waterlillies, and the Mona Lisa. It was super hard to see her though, we had to push really hard to get to the front. We are having a blast and tonight we are going to see the Eiffel Tower all lite up. I went shopping at an H&M today so you know I am in heaven.
Please pass out the word to family that we are alive. We know that Shu probably won't be checking this blog at all so if you could let him know. Thanks, and we love and miss you very much. Mom says to tell you that we are praying for you and to not forget to pray for us. Love you all!!!

Computer troubles

No need to worry French people are very nice. We are alive and well. Sorry we haven't written, but France is more of a struggle than we thought, from a technical perspective. We are typing on a french computer so it is a little difficult. We will try and get up and running because we got some really good pictures today. We found the Paris ward here and they were very helpful. Hope to be able to show you Notre Dame soon, love you all!!!

Jordan's 18th

We celebrated a little early, but we had to make sure we had a cake. Mom went all out and made a great cake, and even tried to make an 18 out of whipped cream.

We were forced to take tons of pictures, but we decided to have fun with it.

Senior Dinner

On May 24th Mom planned a dinner for all of the seniors(18!!) in the ward and their parents. It went really well, and we all had the chance to say one last good bye. However, I think it meant more to the parents than to the seniors.

Europe Prep

This week has been busy. We've been researching everything on Europe. We've watched Rick Steve movies and been mapping out everything. If anyone knows more about the Metro system in Paris. Let us know, Mom will sleep better at night if she knows. We leave on the 20th, and at least Mom and I are VERY excited!

The Beginning

We've finally started a blog after receiving so much peer pressure. Hope we can keep up with all of you crazy bloggers.
